COLLECTION OF VOLUNTARY FEES FOR CTA (Central Tibetan Administration, Dharamsala, India)
Each and every exiled Tibetan in India, Nepal and Bhutan, contribute a voluntary minimum annual fee. The booklet has a green cover giving it the name ‘Green Book’. The Tibetan diaspora in Europe and other countries in the West contribute in Euros, the TGÖ collects the fee and sends it to the CTA via The Office Of Tibet in Geneva, Switzerland.
3
COLLECTION OF TGÖ MEMBERSHIP FEE
Since the community does not have source of income,Tibetans living in Austria voluntarily pay TGÖ an annual membership fee of €25. The unemployed Tibetans pay €13 and children above 6 pay €1. Any amount of donation is most welcome.
4
ISSUANCE OF DOCUMENTS
Since Tibet is an occupied nation and not officially recognised as a country of its own, there are no embassies representing Tibet around the world. In this case, TGÖ issues letters of acknowledgement and supporting letters to help those Tibetans who seek documents for the authorities in Austria.
