About the Event
Exiled Tibetans celebrate Democracy Day. Tibetan democracy was founded in 1960. Unlike other people’s struggle for democracy, Tibetan democracy in exile was introduced, practiced and offered to the people by His Holiness The Great 14th Dalai Lama.
